BIOGRAPHY:
Since September 2002, Celeste Brown has been
serving in Sucre, Bolivia. As a part of the FHI/Bolivia family,
Celeste is a Marketing Assistant with a focus on microenterprise,
working to help generate incomes for the poor in the altiplano (highlands
and highland valleys) of Bolivia. While working in this capacity,
she will also pursue her MBA in International Development with Hope
International University.
Celeste
is a native of Beaufort, South Carolina and was involved with New
Hope Christian Church throughout her youth. She moved to the Boston-Metro
area to pursue her degree in International Culture and Economy from
Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts. Before serving with Food
for the Hungry, Celeste had a career in Financial Services with
Investors Bank in Trust in Boston. While at Bentley, she became
acquainted with Park Street Church, where her call to serve with
Food for the Hungry was confirmed.
